Lorenzo is a character in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
Lorenzo is a poet and the son of a wealthy family, and the fiancé of Jessica Albert at the start of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
Appearance and Personality[edit]
Lorenzo is a young man with a thin frame and a blond bowl cut. His eyes are often closed, but when opened their color appears to be simply black. His outfit consists of a jester-style red and orange striped tunic with long sleeves and black skirt with a white fringe. He wears a purple cape with a pink fluffy collar over his tunic, brown boots, and a brown belt with a gemstone encrusted belt buckle. He also sports two dangling gemstone earrings.
He comes off as a foppish and romantic man, usually using fanciful words and speaking poetically. He dotes on Jessica when you first meet him in Alexandria, expounding on his love for her and imagining their life together.
Story[edit]
The Hero meets Lorenzo in Alexandria at the Albert family manor, where he formally introduces himself as Jessica's fiancé. After the events at the Tower of Alexandra, and after Jessica runs away following the altercation with her mother, the Hero can later find Lorenzo in Argonia.
