The Muddy hand is an animated human hand made of mud. It has the annoying ability of summoning other Muddy hands, making the battle last longer. However, this can be a secret blessing as the player gains the experience of defeating the extra {{MFamilies}}s. Furthermore, the dirt clods are never totally immune to instant death so patient players can continuously wipe out whole groups if they are lucky.

The Muddy hand is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Introduced in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line as a Material monster, it has been re-classified as a member of the Undead family in many installments in both the main series and its spinoffs.

Description[edit]

The Muddy hand is an animated human hand made of mud. It has the annoying ability of summoning other Muddy hands, making the battle last longer. However, this can be a secret blessing as the player gains the experience of defeating the extra monsters. Furthermore, the dirt clods are never totally immune to instant death so patient players can continuously wipe out whole groups if they are lucky.
