The Hirsute hexer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. They are powerful sorcerers with small dragon familiars perched on their shoulders.
Characteristics[edit]
Hirsute hexers are humanoids with tan hides and draconic features that carry around a red-scaled dragon as a pet on their left shoulders. They wear purple robes with a dragon's head symbol emblazoned on the front, orange shoes, orange pauldrons wide enough for their dragons to perch on, and horned orange helmets decorated with purple gemstones.
The sorcerers are a force to be reckoned with as they possess powerful spells such as Kaswoosh and Kathwack and can resurrect their fallen companions with Kazing, as well.
