Birds of terrordise (then HellHawk) make their first appearance, though it is not until around the end that they appear. They are incredibly powerful, boasting high stats and the most lethal of the fire breath attacks. The Bird of terrordise is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is a fiery red variant of the Prism peacock.
