The Prison guard is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.

Characteristics[edit]

Prison guards are animated armor monsters. Their body consists in a set of metallic black cuirass, helmet, boots and gauntlets, all of them black with golden and purple details on them. In the original game they share sprite with the Animated armour. Prison guards are seen golden wielding lances, with blunted tips and a blue handgrip, and a blue shield, which are decorated with a blue eye and golden details.
