Etymology
Aeon is a Greek word that indicates an existence or a long period of time. In Gnosticism, Aeons were the emanations of God. In the original Japanese and the French version of the game, the aeon's bow is named after the cherubim, the second highest order of angels in the Bible, ranked above thrones and below seraphim.
