The Gold bracer is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series which first appeared in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.

The Gold bracer is an accessory that increases defence by 5. They can be won in the Endor casino for 1,000 tokens. Everyone can equip them.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

Gold bracers have a Defense bonus of +15 and a Style bonus of +20. The Hero, Carver, Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, Terry, Lizzie, and Goowain can equip them. They can be sold for 262 gold coin and bought for 350 gold coin in Wellshire and Arkbolt.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Gold bracers have a Defense bonus of +5 and a Style bonus of +15. The Hero, Maribel Mayde, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe can equip them. They can be bought for 2,000 gold coins and sold for 1,000 gold coins.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

The Gold bracer is an accessory that increases defence by 4. All party members can equip them. They can be sold for 175 gold coins and bought for 350 gold coins at the Argonia bazaar. One is acquired from Khalamari as a gift after defeating him. Chainines, Dingalings, Fencing foxes, Lesser demons, and Notso machos drop them rarely. Dieablos, Gold golems, and Goodybags have them as a common drop. They are used in recipes for Life bracers and Shimmering dresses, so it is best to save a few.

Gold bracers have a one star rarity and a Defense bonus of +3. All classes can equip it. Its in game description is "A pure gold piece of armwear that artfully enhances defence." They can be sold for 175 gold coins and bought for 350 gold coins in Porth Llaffan. Dourbridge also has them for sale for 1,750 gold coins.
