The Nightcrawler is a bug monster introduced in Dragon Quest VII. It can be found in the Ballymolloy area, the Rainbow Mines and the Tower.

Characteristics

Large orange creepy caterpillars that a covered in a thick layer of threatening blue barbs. Despite their frightful face and fangs, they much prefer to fling themselves at foes spike side first, and won't hesitate to flee from battle whenever they encounter a strong foe.
