Edahs 'Sophix

Edahs' Sophix is a boss monster in Dragon Quest Swords. It is the final mirror boss and strongest enemy in the game. Edahs' Sophix is a monster in the same family as Xiphos the Deathbringer a fact at which the name hints.

Characteristics

In order to fight Edahs' Sophix, the player must first defeat variations of the latter mirror bosses, Nomegeon, Der Gib, and Valgirt Nedlog. After defeating all 3, the player fights Edahs' Sopix. Edahs' fighting style and mannerisms are extremely similar to those of Xiphos, only with increased speed and power. This includes the use of the Master Stroker, Figure of Hate.

Defeating Edahs' Sophix marks the final completion objective in the game. It also unlocks Payback mode if the save file of the current game is not already a payback mode file.
