Characteristics

These cold-blooded canines look like a cross between lions and rabid dogs, with fine pink fur and white manes, tails, and tufts of hair on their bodies. They have solid, evil-looking yellow eyes and are constantly seen with a trail of drool hanging from their open maws. Their hides are highly resistant to various types of magic and afflictions.

Etymology

Abracadabrador's name in Japanese, Sabnac, is taken from Sabnock, one of the 72 demons listed in the Ars Goetia, taken from the Lesser Key of Solomon. Sabnock is described as a mighty marquis of Hell with the appearance of an armored soldier with the head of a lion riding on horseback. He has 50 legions of demons under his command and has the ability to build high towers, castles, and cities and furnishes them with weapons. Sabnock also has the ability to make the wounds and sores of men gangrenous or fill them with worms.
