The Hero spear is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series. When it successfully lands a hit on an enemy, it restores a 25% of the damage to the wielder's health, making it a very useful weapon.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
The hero spear has an attack bonus of +72, a style bonus of +17, and increases the wielder's weight by 43. It restores 6% of the damage inflicted as HP. The spear can be equipped by Warriors, Priests, Paladins, and Item Masters.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit]
The hero spear is received as a reward for Advanced Proficiency Test: Question 7, and increases attack by +82. Its description states that it is "Wielded by a heroic knight in days of yore."
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit]
The spear increases Kiryl's attack by +104, his defence by +25, and recovers 3HP per strike.
