The Necromacer is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. It is an armored fighter adept with both magic and weaponry.
Characteristics[edit]
Oddball, evil opponents armed with spiky balls on chains, ready for swinging and smashing at enemies. They wear purple and yellow surcoats over a sleeveless haubergeon and orange clothing, purple pauldrons, and a purple bucket helmet with six vertical eyeslits and darker purple spikes on either side. The helmet also has two curved horns out of the side. In order to fire off magic they send their weapons swinging in a circle, allowing them to cast Fizzle and bring a stop to enemy spell slinging. With their icy connection to the underworld they can summon storms of ice to come crashing down on a whole load of opponents at once. Its name is a play on the term "necromancer" and the spiked flails they carry around.
