The Short bow is a recurring bow in the Dragon Quest series. It is a very simple bow and often times the weakest in each game it appears.

The Short bow has an Attack bonus of +23 and can only be equipped by Angelo. It can be purchased in Ascantha for 750 gold and sold for 375 gold. It can also be dropped rarely by Bodkin bowyers. The short bow can be upgraded into a Hunter's bow in the Alchemy Pot.
