The silk bustier is a recurring bodice in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in Dragon Quest V. It is a piece of sultry undergarment designed exclusively for female characters that is typically a mid-ranking armour option.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +60. It can only be worn by female characters.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +38 and a style bonus of +45. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. It can be purchased in Spilton-on-Sea for 7,800 gold and sold for 3,900 gold. One can also be found in the Temple Palace in the present.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The silk bustier has a defence bonus of +44. It can only be worn by Jessica and Red and can be purchased in Argonia for 5,500 gold when the bazaar begins and sold for 2,750 gold. The silk bustier can be made into a bunny suit with the Alchemy Pot by combining it with a bunny tail.
