The stolos' staff is a wand designed to save victims of petrification.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
The stolos' staff was used by the Hero's daughter to remove the curse of petrification affecting her father, and it shattered upon use. A second stolos' staff can be found in Precaria guarded by the merry man. It has an attack bonus of +60.

Etymology[edit]
- The wand's name is a portmanteau of "stone" and "loss", referring to its anti-petrification nature
