Chapter 2 begins the main plot line of the game with the introduction of Prince Anlace who is concerned about his ailing mother Queen Curtana. The queen has slipped away from the castle into Galantyne Glades without allowing Anlace to accompany her. Anlance attempts to enlist Claymore to accompany him to the Glades, but Claymore refuses. Instead, Anlace gets the hero to join him in following the queen to Galantyne Glades.
