The teeny sanguini is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest IX.
Characteristics
The teeny sanguini, as other members of the sanguini family, has a bat-like appearance and round-ish body. It also has very sharp teeth which it uses for attacking. What makes the teeny sanguini different from the other sanguinis, besides the stats, is the cow-like pattern on its fur.
When it comes to stats, the teeny sanguini is one of the weakest enemies that appear in Dragon Quest IX.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and Professional
One of the first - albeit non-recruitable, monsters that the Hero encounters is a curious Teeny Sanguini named The Countess, under the ownership of Lily Gilder. During the course of the game, Miss Gilder often accompanies the Hero on chases; her beloved beast is prone to running away at the blink of an eye and finding danger for herself.
Teeny sanguinis when synthesised over level twenty create a Teeny sanguini X. Two level fifty Teeny sanguini X's make a Teeny sanguini XY.

Trivia
Sanguinis and their transformation from fluffy creatures into horrific scaly demons appears to be inspired the 1984 movie Gremlins.
