The Sprite bulb is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI. It is a floating, blue plant-based slime. It aids its allies in battle by curing wounds much like the Healslime, only it does so by spreading a peculiar pollen instead of with magic. The friendly foliage can't easily control how the pollen spreads, however, and will accidentally heal adventurers as well.

- Sprite is a Middle English term for a small elfin being that is very elusive, and is derived from the Latin word spiritus.
- Araune is a mispronunciation of Alraune, which is the German name for the mythical mandrake plant.
