The Vis mager is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in the original Dragon Quest. It is a high-ranking sorcerer in the Dragonlord's armies.

Vis magers are Prestidigitators with yellow robes that carry a golden staff topped with a red orb. They are the most powerful sorcerers in the original game, second only to the Dragonlord himself.
