The Winter Queen is the second boss fought in Dragon Quest V, and is the one responsible for postponing the coming of spring by duping Dwight into stealing a precious artifact from Faerie Lea.
She has gone on to make appearances in spinoff games in the series.
Characteristics[edit]
Appearance-wise, the Winter Queen is a blizzybody with dull grey skin instead of blue and purple eyes. The blue flames she wields and the one on her head are a lighter shade of blue, as well. In the Sony PlayStation 2 version of V, the queen has been given a more feminine appearance, wearing a dress with high heels in place of the Roman armor. She also wears a tiara and a necklace decorated with blue gemstones. In her appearance in Walk and Keshi Keshi, her dress has been given a more elaborate appearance, her tiara is now decorated with a snowflake, and she wears rings on all of her fingers.
Aside from her icy attacks, the Winter Queen will often take a deep breath before using Cool Breath.
