Nightcrawlers are large centipedes with orange bodies, which are covered in spikes. The tops of their heads and the spikes surrounding their face are purple, and they have light green mandibles. They attack by rolling their bodies up into a circle and leaping at their foes.

The Nightcrawler is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is an enormous, spike-covered centipede monster with a fearsome visage.

Characteristics[edit]
