Gemon is a boss in the Cragvaration area. It can be found in a large nest (not its own) filled with giant eggs. Post-game, Gemon is replaced by [[Empyrea]], who can be found in the same spot. Gemon is a character first introduced in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

His appearance is similar to a Dark gryphon, but he is much, much larger, and has three straight horns protruding from his head.

Gemon is Rhapthorne's right hand man and a boss in Dragon Quest VIII. Gemon threatened to murder Empyrea's unborn child if she did not co-operate with him.
