Clawcerer is a monster introduced in Dragon Quest VII. They are anthropomorphic cat sorcerers.
Characteristics
The Clawcerer is a moggy magican, related to the lesser spell slinger, Meowgician. Along with the classic catty spell, Frizz, they can also cast the Dazzle spell that cause the accuracy of all adventurers to dive, by blinding them with bright magic. Clawcerers have deep dark blue fur and wear red ragged robes to cover their feline form, although their constantly cat licking gives them away. To amplify their power they carry solid gnarled wooden staves and wear wicked yellow bells hanging around their necks.

Description | First-rate feline mages who can addle with Dazzle, and whose long tails aren't just for show. When meowgicians eat up all their fish like good kitties, Omeowga 3 oils make them brainier, and they become clawcerers. |
