The Scarfish is a recurring aquatic monster in the series, being introduced in Dragon Quest VII.
Characteristics
Scary scarred sea stars with a mean mouth and monstrous staring evil eyes. They stand up-right on ships by sticking to the floor with their two bottom legs, waving their other three fearsome arms menacingly. Despite their fishy appearance, they love firing off Frizz spells at wandering sailors, along with using their. In battle they flop face first on to their foes, tiny sharp teeth at the ready to snap and sink in. Even more worrisome is that they use their five feet to do a weird dance so shocking that it drains the very magic force out of adventurers.
