The Costumes in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a category of equipment who change appearance of the Party is they are equipped with the right items. The costumes are distinguished by a pink icon to better differentiate them from others equipments.

The Definitive edition add new more costumes, option to choose any costumes regardless of the equipment worn when you've collected all the items once and some equipments who had the same model in the original version have now different colors.
