Iron lance
The Iron Lance (or Iron Spear and Spear) is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise.
Appearances
Dragon Quest II
The iron spear is a more powerful & deadly weapon and it allows you to fight with some distance between you and your enemies. It has the attack bonus of +20 and can be equipped by The Prince of Midenhall & Prince of Cannock.
Dragon Quest III
The spear has an attack bonus of +26 (+28 in the NES Version) and can be equipped by The Hero, Warriors, Fighters, Priests, Merchants, Jesters & Sages. It can be purchased at Romaly for 650 gold (750 in the NES Version).
Dragon Quest IV
The iron lance has an attack bonus of +28 and can be used by The Hero, Ragnar McRyan, Kiryl & Torneko Taloon.
Hardie, Oojam & Hank Hoffman Jr. have an iron lance among their equipment.
Dragon Quest VII
The iron lance has an attack bonus of +23 and an appearance bonus of +8. It can be equipped by the hero, Kiefer, Gabo, Melvin, and Aira.
Dragon Quest VIII
The iron lance has an attack bonus of +24.
