Majellan is one of the main characters of Dragon Quest Tact. He is a friendly Slime that assists the player character.
Appearance and Personality
Majellan is an ordinary Slime, with his main distinguishing characteristics being the small backpack that holds a scroll on his back and a red bandana tied around the lower part of his body. He is a knowledgeable slime who travels around the world.

Dragon Quest Tact
Majellan is first encountered when Mindini and the player rescue him from a group of monsters. He offers to assist the player in any way when he finds out that they are off to join the Master League in order to meet with King Augoostus.
Etymology
Majellan's Japanese name, Slact is a combination of the words "slime" and "tact", which is short for tactics and also means baton in Japanese. In English, he is named after the 16th century Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan, who was famous for leading the first expedition to circumnavigate the globe from Europe.
