The Weighvern is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is an immense orange dragon that utilizes its bulk against its enemies.
Characteristics[edit]
Weighverns are massive dragons that put the full force of size into their strong attacks, sliding forward with surprising speed and smashing with their palms like sumo wrestlers. Their massive feet cause havoc when they mash down on the floor, making the earth quake and shake to damage every enemy on the field of battle. Their great claws grab at enemies to prevent them from attacking and they love to belch out a fearsome fire at every enemy.
