Spilton-on-Sea (formerly Huzu) is a fishing village located on the same continent as Wetlock, just southwest of it, in Dragon Quest VII.
Story[edit]
Spilton-on-Sea is a small fishing village located on the southern coast of the continent, just south of Hardlypool. In order to reach the village, the party must pass through the Hardlypool Tunnel, which is only accessible when the townspeople disappear in the middle of the night. Upon arriving in the village, Maribel notes that it reminds her a lot of Pilchard Bay, since the two are small fishing villages. Spilton-on-Sea is currently going through a crisis as the fish have suddenly disappeared. The party also hears rumors of an underwater city somewhere.
At the inn, the party inquires about Old Man Riffer, and the innkeeper tells them he was just there the night before. The party spends the night at the inn and hears the mysterious song once again. Ruff and Maribel awaken the Hero, telling him the village is dead silent. Upon leaving the inn, the party notices the townspeople have completely disappeared, just like they did in Hardlypool. They decide to leave the village and move on to Wetlock.
After the party defeats Gracos, the flood ends and the village goes back to normal, allowing the villagers to return to their homes. Much like Hardlypool, Spilton-on-Sea does not exist in the present, its people likely migrating to Wetlock.
