The Well Wisher is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. The wart-covered, red demon is a monster that hides in wells around the world. It is quite strong and has a penchant of throwing rocks and screaming a War Cry.
Characteristics
With a demonic physique that barely fits in the well itself, and red-orange pock marked skin, drool dripping from its maw, the Well Wisher can be a terrifying surprise for adventurers looking to explore the bottom of unexplored wells. In battle the Well Wisher hurls stone that skip across and do damage to the entire party, along with holding its breath for a boisterously big attack. At times the Well Wisher will just sit and grin manically rather than attacking, and others it will duck back into it's lair and leap up to surprise the party, making them miss a turn.
In Dragon Quest VI they begin the battle with Bounce already cast, protecting them from magic attacks and debuffs.
