Gyldenaut is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

It is a gold-plated variant of the Deadnaut.

Characteristics

Gyldenauts are skeletal warriors whose bones and armaments are completely composed of gold. Despite their appearance, they actually belong to the Material family instead of being undead. Dragon Quest Tact

Gyldenaut appears as a B-rank monster of the Inorganic family as the second part of the 1-Year Festival Eve "Invites to the Land of Golden Sands" limited event. It will join the player in Chapter 2, Episode 1 of the event quests and it can be fully awakened by completing the quest at any difficulty. The gyldenaut can participate in Gyldenbritches's Battle Road as a party member.
