The gigant armour is a recurring suit of armour in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful set of armor reserved for only the strongest characters and it protects the wearer against fire and ice attacks.

CharacteristicsEdit
The gigant armour is generally portrayed as a golden or copper-coloured suit of heavy armour composed of multiple plates, and in the 1995 official guidebook for VI it was shown to provide shin guards as well. Each of the shoulders contains a prominent spike. It is said to have been forged by giants.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit
The gigant armour has a defence bonus of +92, a style bonus of +15, and reduces fire and ice breath damage by 15 points. It can be purchased at Despairia and Greedmore Valley for 23,000 gold. The armour can be equipped by Carver, Amos, Terry, Lizzie, and Goowain.
It can be reworked at the Fashion Forge for 20,000 gold, boosting its style bonus to +77.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit
The gigant armour has a defence bonus of +92 and a style bonus of +15. It's breath damage resistance has been raised to 30 points. It can only be equipped by the Hero and Aishe. It can be purchased on the Sea Dragon for 35,000 gold and sold for 17,500 gold. Gigant armour can also be won as a prize from the Lucky Panel at Buccanham Casino.
