First appearance | Dragon Quest VII |
The Fright Knight, originally Niterich (the latter likely being a mistranslation of "Night Lich"), is a semi-recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Description
The fright knight is a hellish, large scary skeletal soldier adorned in massive teal and magenta armour, and it wields a wicked giant sword in battle. These undead fiends are capable of strategically saving their strength for the right time to strike, unleashing their brutal hits when their enemies are at their weakest. The knights also know how to unleash freezing attacks with both their breath and spells, strong enough to cause a serious threat. They can also support their allies by bringing them back from the dead with Zing.
