Granite Chin is a monster trait that helps a beast shrug off being startled.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]

Granite Chin reduces the chance of being stunned by 10%, stacking with the possessor's innate resistance if any, whether it be through the use of War Cry or as the bonus effect of another ability. In the latter case the accuracy of the enemy's attack itself isn't affected by this trait, only the stunning chance. Granite Chin can only be obtained by equipping the amulet of vigour or ring of vigour, dropped by sham hatwitches and frolickers respectively.

Granite Chin stacks with the effects of Ultra Granite Chin for a 60% chance to avoid being stunned, but is nullified by the Ultra Crafty Stunner and Crafty Devil traits.
