Orgon is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is an undead dragon created by Orgodemir from the rotting flesh in his final form to serve as his minion.

Characteristics

Orgon is a large quadrupedal undead dragon with purple scales whose flesh has rotted off from most of its body, exposing its red skeleton underneath. Its wings are torn in various places and its right eye is falling from its socket. The dragon is still capable of snapping at enemies with its sharp fangs and breathing out fiery breath.

Dragon Quest of the Stars

Orglog, Orgodemir and Orgon in Stars.

Orgon appears alongside Orglob and the rotting final form of Orgodemir. Upon defeat, it gives it's master a shield which nullifies the next attack Orgodemir receives.

Aside from the final parts of the Orgodemir fights, Orgon can be encountered in the triple battle of the "Chronicles of Gods" permanent event, an event that retells the stories of Dragon Quest VII, VIII and IX.
