}} The Armoured Scorpion is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen.

Description

The Armoured Scorpion, naturally, is a scorpion that is heavily armoured. As such, its defenses are higher than the surrounding enemies. Its body is covered in yellow armor plates, giving it the appearance of a knight, and it attacks using both its pincers and its stinging tail. These fearsome arachnids are not to be taken lightly, as they are some of the first enemies the player encounters that are capable of landing desperate attacks.
