Characteristics

Proud priests that stand with arms outstretched and their staves held high, ready to smash opponents down with their dangerous spells and manic magic. Their Oomph spell alone is strong enough to give opponents a hard time, boosting the attack of any monster that they choose, including themselves. Their massive staves not only as a lightning rod to call down a strike against their enemies, but also to be thrown like a boomerang that teleports immediately back to their hands after a successful strike. They magic can even whip up strong winds with Swoosh and crushing icy storms with Kacrackle. Trivia

  • Due to a naming error in Nintendo 3DS version of VII, the monster vocation is mistakenly named after the Black bishop that originates from the Tower of Trickery DLC Tablet in the English version. If a character changes their vocation to a Black bishop, their character model will be transformed to that of the Beastly priest rather than the newer monster.
