"'No nugget of knowledge too big or small, Noah the know-it-all knows 'em all.' That's what they used to say, huh?"
Noah is a world-infamous information dealer who appears in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. This middle-aged man with dark blue hair claims it's just luck that causes him to stumble upon valuable secrets, but he's happy to pass them on for the right price.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
While in Hotto with his daughter Connie, Noah was kidnapped by Jarvis while "investigating" the ladies' baths.
The Hero and Erik are surprised by young Connie while visiting the sauna themselves. The pair mistake the poor girl, crying about a lost family member, for the younger sister Veronica was searching for earlier, but the pint-sized mage quickly clears up the situation. Veronica suspects that Connie's missing father might be in the same place where she lost Serena: the Cryptic Crypt.
After the party recovers Serena, defeats Jarvis and restores Veronica's powers (but not her youth), Noah is indeed found locked in a cell. Veronica scolds him for neglecting his daughter, and once back in town, Noah gives the group his juiciest tidbit related to Yggdrasil: while traveling through the desert with Connie, the pair were saved from dying of thirst by Gallopolitan soldiers, and Noah spied the Rainbough in the Sultan's palace.
In Act 3, Noah and Connie can be brought to Cobblestone as part of Gemma's efforts to rebuild the village.
Etymology[edit]
- Noah was originally a Hebrew name meaning "rest", and is best known for belonging to the Biblical figure. In this case, the name was almost certainly chosen simply for sounding like knower.
- His daughter Connie's name is likely derived from con man or con artist, reflecting her father's dubious profession rather than anything about the girl herself.
