The Buntzenberner, known as Gasmon in Dragon Quest Tact, is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X. It is an elemental monster made from purple and black flames.

Buntzenberner is a variant of the dancing flame whose body is made up of flames in different shades of purple, with black flames closer to the center of its body.
