Abyss diver

The Abyss diver is a large aquatic monster similar to the mythological Leviathan. It is purple in color, has a long neck, and webbed feet. It is quite powerful when the player first meets it, and its breath attacks can devastate low level parties.

Originally the weaker predecessor of the Seasaur, the Abyss diver has since become the stronger pallet-swap as of VIII.

Dragon Quest VII

The Abyss Diver can be found in the Underwater City in the past and the Cathedral of Blight.
