The tower was built a few days after Rose and Devlin joined up with Psaro in order to protect her from humans, not including the trustworthy ones already living in Rosehill. Psaro initially gave Rose strict orders to never leave her bedroom while he is away, but upon receiving a piece of travelite from Furrgil at the Endor colosseum, the elf maiden performs an ancient elven ceremonial dance to infuse the tower with the power to move between the realms. Specifically, the travelite lands the tower into the Lower Echelon of the Circle of Conquest, which Rose points to be free of any human presence and prompts her to join Psaro on his adventure. As the lovers collect more pieces of travelite, more and more regions of Nadiria become accessible, culminating in the Upper Echelon of the Circle of Conquest at the journey's end.

Rosehill tower is tied to the Zoom spell that Fizzy taught Psaro during the opening segment of the game and will always appear in the same area he Zooms to. It boasts other conveniences as well: the nun on the first floor is sympathetic to Psaro's plight and will revive him and his monsters if they are ever wiped out in battle, Fizzy herself has set up an online shop to provide the player with rare talent scrolls and handy items in addition to serving as the communication hub for online battles, and in the basement is the Altar of Amalgamation where Monty will combine multiple monsters into stronger wholes and Royston the creature keeper will allow the player to swap their current monsters with any resting in the Rosehill paddock. All of these characters remain present with in the tower when Psaro and Rose are out exploring, with Monty having a hidden passage way leading back to his accessory store in Rosehill when the player returns to the village.
