Bigger, better, but most of all badder versions of the bosses from Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II, who bring themselves to bear for rematches against the player and party. Defeating them usually results in either a mighty weapon or the potential to create one.

In Dragon Quest Heroes they appear on mysterious maps, while in Dragon Quest Heroes II they can be found in dimensional dungeons.
