The Grillerpillar is a monster introduced in Dragon Quest III.
As its name suggests, it is a large, fire-breathing caterpillar.
Characteristics
Grillerpillars are enormous red/fuschia caterpillars with orange undersides and spots on the side of their bodies and green faces. They have six purple limbs and a purple mouth, as well as two green spots on the side of its head that look like eyes. Grillerpillars have a sharp stinger at the end of their tail, but their main form of offense is their ability to breathe fire at enemies. Like the other caterpillars in its family, it also attacks physically by rolling up into a ball and poking with their stingers.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
In the Nintendo 3DS version, Grillerpillars appear as special enemies in the Feral Forest DLC tablet.
