The Grimlin (also known as Beelzebaby in Dragon Quest of the Stars) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.
It is an orange-skinned stronger variant of the Gremlin.
Characteristics[edit]
Grimlins, like their pink-skinned cousins, are winged Devils with the bodies of small children, scaly lizard-like tails, pointy ears, and a pair of pink or magenta horns on their heads. They float about with the pair of small, dark orange wings on their back and their tongues constantly hang out from their mischievous faces. The undersides of their bodies are teal and they have black circles around their red eyes, giving them the appearance of wearing a mask. In battle, they can breathe out fiery breath, cast a variety of different spells, and can call more devilish blighters to assist them. After a long absence from the series, Grimlins made a reappearance like many classic monsters in X and eventually other spinoff games.
