The Dark star is a silver and purple pentagram-shaped boomerang that has a small chance to cast Oomph on the wielder at the start of battle.

The dark star has an attack bonus of +83, a style bonus of +12, increases the wielder's weight by 8, and boosts the wielder's spellcasting speed by 5%. It can be equipped by Minstrels, Rangers, Sages, Item Masters, Gadabouts, and Pirates as long as they are level 80.
