Infanticore

The infanticore is a monster in the series. First appearing in Dragon Quest III, it is a large, winged lion with six legs.

Characteristics[edit]

Infanticores have orange pelts, purple or magenta-coloured manes and tails, and have solid evil-looking red eyes. The bat-like wings on their back have dark blue membranes. The felines can perform deadly biting attacks with their sharp fangs and are intelligent enough to cast spells. Infanticores would not make a reappearance for several decades until the releases of Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key and Dragon Quest XI.
