Metal Beater is a monster trait that applies a portion of one's level to physical attacks.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
Metal Beater applies a quarter of the possessor's level to any ability that uses the attack stat, such as normal attacks or elemental attacks like Flamesplitter. In the latter case, the extra damage will not apply if the target is immune to that element. In both cases the damage will be reduced by the effects of the Metal Skin trait.
