Trivia[edit]

  • In the English version, the ring shares a name with the Sorcerer's Stone from the American version of the Harry Potter series of books, which was changed from the philosopher's stone in the original publishing. The Philosopher's stone is a legendary substance that was believed by medieval alchemists to be able to turn lead into gold and could be used to create the elixir of life, which would grant immortality. The philosopher's stone itself appears in the Dragon Quest series under the name Sage's stone.
