==Characteristics==
Deadnauts are [[Undead family|skeleton warriors]] clad in blue and gold armour wielding a sword and shield in battle. The blue shield they carry bears the bat symbol of the [[Children of Hargon]] on it. They appear to be more heavily armoured and warlike than the typical [[skeleton]] monster. Like many other classic monsters in the series, the deadnaut and its fellow skeletal swordsmen made a reappearance in ''XI'' after a nearly 30-year absence.

The Deadnaut is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest II. It is a sword-wielding skeleton wearing various bits of armour.

Characteristics

Deadnauts are skeleton warriors clad in blue and gold armour wielding a sword and shield in battle. The blue shield they carry bears the bat symbol of the Children of Hargon on it. They appear to be more heavily armoured and warlike than the typical skeleton monster. Like many other classic monsters in the series, the deadnaut and its fellow skeletal swordsmen made a reappearance in XI after a nearly 30-year absence.
