In games where Alchemy appears, it can be created by combining either three medicinal herbs together or a strong medicine and a medicinal herb. In some games, they can also be found by examining sparkly spots on the map, as well.

Superior medicine can also be used to two recipes for Fun-Size Forge:
- Recipe: Life bracer = Gold nuglet x2 + Dieamend x2 + Superior medicine x3
- Recipe: Wristorative = Gold nuglet x2 + Dracolyte x2 + Superior medicine x3
Dragon Quest of the Stars[edit]
Superior medicine restores around 90 HP to a single party member. It can be created by mixing two strong medicines together.
